With over 150 year-round vendors, the Sunday Marin Farmers Market is the third largest weekly market in California. You’ll find plenty of organic produce (including some unusual varieties—have you ever had a Lemonade Lemon?), plus grass-fed meats, hand-crafted baked goods, and even local artisans. While it’s a popular destination for grocery shoppers and professional chefs alike, you can also snatch up dim sum, sandwiches, or other prepared foods for a lovely lunch al fresco.

This big, bustling market is nestled in the hills of the Marin County Civic Center—Frank Lloyd Wright’s largest and final public project which is both a state and National Historic Landmark. With plenty of parking, the market is easily accessible by car (off the 101), train (at the Marin Civic Center SMART station), or local biking trails.
